GOD SAVED MOM

God saved my mom’s life, she was sick, she kept going to the doctor, but he kept telling her she was just going through the change of life. She got depressed and decided to do something awful. My dad was working in another city at this time, and it was just my baby sister and me, my older sister was with my dad at the time. My mom gave me money and told me to take my little sister and get ice cream, we lived just a couple of blocks from the DQ. I took the money, and we started walking, I was around 12 at this time, the Holy Spirit told me to go back to the house. I did and found my mom with a bottle of pills getting ready to take them.

I know the Holy Spirit spoke to her through me as I would never have been so bold to my mom. I said mom what are you doing, I want you to call daddy right now and get him to come home and take you to the doctor to get this fixed. I don’t remember the exact words I said but they were bold enough my mom listened. She called daddy and he came right home. He took her to a different doctor and got her help. I knew God saved my mom that day. From the time I was three and mom told me about who God was and He saved me from drowning I walk with Him; I loved God, and I trusted God. I talked to God all the time and He has been with me and helped me through all my life experiences, good and bad.
