Angles To The Rescue

One day in the early 70s my family went to a creek to camp in our new VW van camper. We were so excited as we have camped at this creek many times with family and friends. We were to meet with family this time as well. We got to the creek early and began to set up camp. We pulled the camper down close to the water on the river rock as we had done many times with other riggs. The kids were up by the road playing (not on the road hahaha) while my husband and I walked down to the water. This creek was crystal clear and beautiful to swim in, canoe or raft.

As we were standing there, we noticed the water rising, as we looked up stream, we saw the water coming. We went to the camper to move it up on the road, when my husband started to pull it up the camper sank in the rock to its frame! All we could do was pray, all of the sudden three canoes with two men in each canoe pulled up on the bank. They said to my husband, “Looks like you could use some help.” He agreed, they told him to get in the camper and they would help get him out… these men looked like “Mr. Clean” is the only way I can describe them. Three men got on each side of the camper and “PICKED IT UP” and carried it to the road! I walked up with them and when my husband got out of the camper to thank them, they were GONE! We walked down to the waters edge and looked both ways, no men or canoes… they disappeared! We knew then that they were ANGELS sent by God in answer to our desperate prayers to help us out.

I realize that these supernatural things that have happened in my life are hard to believe, but they happened. I live by the scripture, “Nothing is impossible with God!” for I have lived through many impossible things! God answers prayers, I always pray when I need God’s help. He doesn’t always answer my prayers the way I wanted Him too. But He always made a way where there seemed to be no way. My husband and I never forgot this day when God sent six big strong angels to help us.
